The library

Every work in Council

All 650 of them, with the translator, edition and digitisation each one came from — and an excerpt of its own opening rather than a description written about it. Nothing here is a summary standing in for a text.

The library only holds works that are public domain in the United States and available as real, checkable text. If something you need meets that bar and is not here, say so — the corpus grows by request more than by plan.

Deliberately absent, and not faked: Pentecostal standards, and the confessional documents of the Oriental Orthodox churches — both 20th-century and still in copyright. The Tewahedo scriptural canon is here; their modern standards are not. Nor is the Anabaptist confessional backbone — Menno Simons, Schleitheim, Dordrecht — which survives only as scanned text too error-ridden to quote, so the tradition is represented by the Martyrs Mirror alone. A gap is better than an invention.
